Personal Accounts

Personal accounts are your individual workspace designed for solo projects. They’re perfect when you’re learning GraphQL schema design, prototyping new ideas, or working on personal experiments.
While you cannot invite team members to personal accounts, you can still collaborate on individual graphs by inviting external collaborators.

Organizations

Organizations are team workspaces where you collaborate with others on shared projects. They provide a centralized place for your team to work together on schemas and graphs.

Team Members & Roles

Organizations support two simple roles to manage access and permissions.
RoleDescription
Adminusers have full access to everything in the organization. They can invite and remove team members, create, edit, and delete graphs, and manage all organization settings.
Viewerusers have read-only access to the organization. They can view graphs and schemas but cannot participate in discussions or make any changes to the content.

When to Use Organizations

You should switch to an organization when you need team collaboration, want multiple people working on schemas together, or require role-based access control for your projects.
Start with a personal account to get familiar with Hub, then create an organization when you’re ready to collaborate with your team.
